There you go to pick up your first pokemon from Prof. Rowan’s assistant Dawn/Lucas (depending on your character’s gender). On your way in through a forest thicket, a wild Starly attacks you and starts a battle with you unexpectedly. After capturing the Starly you are introduced to your rival, an obnoxious fellow who is looking for his first pokemon too. After giving one of your pokemon to him he challenges you to a battle. The rest of the story unfolds…

The game has many twists and turns in its gameplay with additional sidequests aside from completing the league tournament which will prove to be entertaining for all types of gamers. Anime fans will certainly enjoy this game as it follows closely along with the anime series that was recently dubbed into English in late 2008/early 2009.

It can be played on Nintendo’s Wii system using its Virtual Console service or on the Nintendo DS itself by buying the physical copy version. The physical copy version comes with a wireless adapter allowing you to play multiplayer games without any cables needed.

Platinum is the best Pokemon game of all time and, in my opinion, the best DS game of all time. Diamond and Pearl were the best Pokemon games but Platinum has more pokemon, more areas and is exponentially more polished - everything is improved. Whether you're a fan or not of Pokemon, a fan or not of the Nintendo DS, and/or a fan or not of games in general, everyone should try Pokemon Platinum.

As a Pokemon fan, I highly recommend this game, even if you're not a fan like I am. Pokemon Platinum is a fun RPG that seems to never get old. This game, like all the other Pokemon games, has an extremely high replay value. Most people, after completing the storyline, find that there are many more things to do, such as completing the Pokedex, completing the battle frontier challenges, and battling on wifi. Overall, I recommend this game to anyone who's looking for a fun game with high replay value

While it may not have a lot of content from the original Diamond and Pearl, it's still a great game if you haven't gotten the originals. The next generation of Pokemon offers new pokemon, gyms, a new region, and tons of battles. A great game for the DS and I highly recommend that you pick it up.

This game may get you asking: More Pokemon? When I tried it at first, this is the same response it illiceted from me, but as I experimented with the game more and more, I saw just how much of a good game it really is. The graphics are great, the gameplay is solid, and to put it shortly, it just feels like a Pokemon game.
